Rev'ved Up For Kids Car Show - Edelbrock Open House

I found out about this car show last minute for the "Rev'ved Up For Kids" benefit and it was also the Edelbrock open house. So glad I was able to make it out. There was at least a couple of hundred cars there that showed up. It was hard to see everything, but I was able to at least catch these few shots of my favorite ones, and post them up to share with you guys, Hope you enjoy them.

Golden Ticket

I saw this Gold Porsche at the Malibu Farmers Market today. It Looked like a pretty fresh build, and I loved that it looks like it's driven regularly. The interior was super clean with a partial roll cage, the paint had a couple of chips in the front, probably from rocks on the road. It had some stickers from Monterey classic Porsche races from '73. I'd definitely love to take this car out for a real long drive up the PCH!

Lets Go Traveling!

This wasn't the cleanest car, it had 4 doors, but there was just something about it that really caught my attention. Maybe it was the rear facing 3rd row seats, the stance, the roof rack, or just the fact it looked like a daily driver? But I really liked this '63 Impala Wagon.

Ford Truck & An Indian

Now this is what I'm talking about! Even though I'm a Chevy guy, this is a bad ass ford truck carrying a bad ass Indian motorcycle. I almost missed getting this picture, but glad i at least got this shot. Not sure what years they are,  the truck has to be early 50's, but either way I really like the look of it. And that bike in the back looks like they belong together. I'd sure like to take that bike for a cruise!

A Work Truck?

I'm a huge fan of these early 70's trucks. I've seen this one several times and it keeps looking cooler and cooler. I'm not sure exactly which year it is, but it doesn't matter! I especially like how it pulls off this Yellow color. The stance is perfect and the right tire and wheel combo, and the Line X bed coating, I'd love to have this as a "Work Truck"

Cruise Night

I heard about this cruise night in El Segundo at the Automobile Driving Museum a couple of months ago. I'm glad I finally got to go and check it out and get these great shots of some real cool cars. Even got to see this kid drawing a real cool rendition of that beautiful Bel Air. I definitely want to keep going every month as much as possible.

Drop Top Valiant

This looks like another real fun car to just drop the top, and go for a long cruise up the coast. I really like the 2 tone colors on this Valiant 200 and the thin red stripe down the center.

ZR1 - Corvette

This New Corvette ZR1 came by my work the other day, and all I could think was how much I'd love to drive this up the coast up to Santa Barbara. Then come back driving down the 101 fwy thru Ventura and all the fun hills and curves.

Birds Eye View

I am really starting to like these early morning fog pictures. I saw this crow perched on this lamp post, and it reminded of a scene from an old classic movie.

River Rocks & Grass

I took this shot of what appears to be a river bed full of boulders lined by tall grass. But this was actually small gravel in a parking lot a some weeds about 6in tall. I thought it would be a great picture to start off spring time here in LA.
